Mounted PRV (KRES)
Product Code: KRES
Basic Applications:
The KRES is a direct acting pressure reducing valve used in various water systems.
Product Description:
The KRES automatically reduces pressure from a higher inlet pressure to a steady lower outlet pressure by using a direct acting mechanism that responds to changes in the water supply pressure. It has been housed and installed on a pipe shaft to protect other instruments and pipes.
Features:
- Completely Automatic
- Easy Access
- Bronze Material Prevents Rust Contamination
- Simple Installation and Maintenance
The built-in strainer prevents clogging due to sand or other foreign matter and can be easily cleaned by simply removing the strainer cap on the inlet side. The use of a union joint allows for easy installation and maintenance. A pressure gauge can be easily installed in the adapter while water is flowing without causing any water leakage.
When during installation a hydraulic pressure test of the water system needs to be done, switching the plug of the KRES enables both direct and reduced pressure to be tested.
